I think you’re exactly right about the murder case — Tom even said “diana, this isn’t our case” really, an old woman dying isn’t a national threat that needs to be assessed? tough call there tom. I agree about richard, but its possible that the guy who makes the opening credits simply couldn’t fit his last name on the screen, so they had to drop him from the show.
