Happy day after Valentine’s Day! Enjoy this week’s Friday Five…
1. Last night’s Lost was a big step down from the previous two episodes. Why? Because we didn’t get a whole of information, and not a lot really happened. Still, Sayid is the man. The Man.
2. New The Bird and The Bee EP, One Too Many Hearts, dropped yesterday. This band is one of very few, (the others being Muse, Incubus, The New Pornographers, The Strokes and St. Vincent) whose albums I will buy no matter what, every time they are released. Listen to some tracks here.
3. The Strike is over! Your shows will be back on the air soon. Well, most of them. For detailed info about specific shows, check out Michael Ausiello’s Strike Recovery Chart.
4. Turner Classic Movies channel is doing straight Oscar-nominated movies for the next month, no commercials. I’ve already set my Tivo to record several films after catching a glimpse of My Fair Lady and A Day At The Races this morning.
5. No good movies have come out for weeks. This weekend is no exception. How many of you are dying to see The Spiderwick Chronicles or Jumper? That’s what I thought.
Have a great weekend!
