I’m so frickin happy today is Election Day. Do you know what this means?! It means that after tonight, people will have to talk about something other than the election! Saturday Night Live can become a sketch comedy show again instead of a Tina Fey talking in a Frances McDormand from Fargo accent for 90 minutes! The Daily Show can stop nitpicking every single out of context word uttered by John McCain while he’s at the supermarket! Television shows I like will stop being canceled for more election coverage (already lost Heroes, Chuck and Fringe this week)!
I know I’m in the minority here, but I don’t care. I love that so many people have turned out to vote and have picked up the cause, but now Im ready for the fall out. It’s like we’ve been on a year long rise up Splash Mountain– I’m ready to take the plunge into the plastic briar and have my photo taken, which I can then purchase later in a paper Splash Mountain frame. God, I love those pictures. I always try to hold some kind of pose and look at the camera if I can. Man, those are the best. Uh, what were talking about again?
